Pressure transducers and transmitters are widely used in high purity and ultra-high purity fluid storage and delivery systems in many industries. Unfortunately, a number of current transducers and transmitters rely on technologies that have problems with zero and span drift, thermal shift, and case stress. Adjusting the transducer and transmitters to rectify errors requires ongoing maintenance that increases downtime and cost of ownership.
SolidSense II Ultra-High Purity Pressure Transducers and Transmitters
The Brooks SolidSense II® ultra-high purity pressure transducers and transmitters offer the lowest cost of ownership for high purity gas distribution systems through virturally zero-maintenance operations. the ultra-stable, micro-machined silicon strain gauges are matched and glass-fused at high temperature to the metal diaphram. This process reduces drift commonly associated with competitive products. These pressure transducers and transmitters will not need to be reset immediately after installation and will not temporarily indicate inaccurate pressure readings during purge cycle.
